One of my favorite games on my 360 has still been the platformer, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.
While not a big hit worldwide, just under 500k sold, many fans of the original games have learned to love this newer version that strayed away from it’s roots.
The DLC Pack, called the “Lord of Games’ Lost Challenges”, will offer a new version of Klungo’s Arcade Game once completed. The pack will include 12 new challenges and 7 new multiplayer games. It will have a total of 250 achievements points. The game will be available for 400 Microsoft Points.

Two weeks ago, the announcement was made that Gears of War 2 would not only be getting an entirely new multiplayer system, but new maps as well.
Today being March 31st, the four new maps are now available to you for the price of 800 MS points.
Here is Epic Games’ press release on the new (and old) maps included:
* Grindyard is a massive industrial complex located in a junk-processing plant from the days of Sera’s industrial excess. The office, now gutted, serves as a perfect place to fortify, but if you’re not careful, you’ll end up trapped inside the office with no hope of escape.
* Under Hill takes players through snowbound tunnels that were once billed as a feat of Seran engineering. Head for high ground on the bridge and you’ll be rewarded with massive firepower, but be prepared to defend your position and try to escape being cornered.
* Courtyard is a wide-open battle royale containing explosive weapons that once formed the heart of Ephyra’s fashionable Civic Center. Lines of sight are far and clear here, and battles tend to focus around the elevated sniper nest. Watch your back and keep a fresh clip.
* Fuel Depot, back by popular demand, is a “Gears of War 2″ remake of the fan-favorite “Gears of War” map, but winter has set in and the depot is now covered in a blanket of snow. Open and unforgiving, it takes a well- coordinated team to cover all the angles here.
New achievements are also added, check those out after the jump..

The picture above is of course the “what not to do” when playing videogames. Our mothers always told us to never sit so close to the tv, and even in the warnings for every game sold to you, there is a notice for having heavy lighting and keeping your distance (I know this only because of my recent “incident” with Mirrors Edge).
There is a bright spot however to all of these warnings.
Thanks to a new study done by Nature Neuroscience, games like the Call of Duty series, Counter-Strike, and Left 4 Dead provide excellent training for what eye doctors call “contrast sensitivity”, the ability to notice tiny changes in shades of gray against a uniform background. This is critical to everyday activities such as night driving and reading, and it will often degrade as you grow older.
Studies reveal a previously unsuspected adaptability in the brain, and could open the way to new therapies.
Now a few days ago, we mentioned the announcement of Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, and how it will be out sometime this Fall.
Today, it is the debut trailer of the new game, and I must say, I’m pretty damn pumped. This coming from someone who’s not a huge fan of the series, nor a PS fanboy. Enjoy.

Calling all gamers in Cincinnati! This weekend is full of awesome excitement for you whether you are a hardcore gamer or you’re just a laid back gamer that enjoys the company of good people. Resident Evil 5 is the first of the long serialized and non-serialized Resident Evil series that I’ve ever considered playing. The survival horror genre isn’t exactly my cup of tea. There are horrors that indeed require you to survive in this latest installment, but you never feel that it is a survival horror game. It plays and feels different, but old features return: the “hold still and shoot” school of thinking is still present, and the quick time events (which killed me more than any chainsaw wielding Majini). It most closely resembles Resident Evil 4’s setup, but you don’t have to babysit the president’s daughter.

If you’re a wrestling fan and are tired of the Smackdown game series and are looking for a change of pace, WWE Legends of WrestleMania just might be the game you’re looking for. With it’s arcade style of gameplay and various game modes Legends of WrestleMania could be the perfect substitute for the modern day wrestling games.
If you played Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest For Booty for the PS3 and beat the game then you know that at the end of the credits a teaser was shown that said the new Ratchet and Clank game would come in Fall 2009. Well Insomniac has offically announced at GDC 2009, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time. Not much is known about the game at this time, but if it is as good as the first Ratchet & Clank Future game for the PS3 then Ratchet & Clank fans don’t need to be worried about this game being a let down.
But until more info is released here is what the logo will look like:

Activision and Infinity Ward announced some cool stuff about Modern Warfare 2 at GDC. MW:2 will be launching on november 10th of this year and gave us a little teaser trailer. I do have to say I wasn’t impressed by the trialer, but it was cool nonetheless.
Yahtzee criticizes RE5 for ruining what RE4 fixed after all the other RE’s were, in his opinion, retarded. Oh, and he discusses the accusations of racism within the game (I’m seeing a pattern here…)
